If your Grandmother ever made bourbon balls, these are probably pretty similar to that traditional recipe. Traditional bourbon balls are made by rolling them in chopped pecans, but we have put a Cellar Door twist on them. We put the pecans on the inside! The shell is made of our high quality, 55% dark chocolate and the bourbon is Four Roses. Enjoy the crunch of the bourbon soaked pecans!
Cellar Door Chocolates opened in 2007 in Louisville, Kentucky. Owner and chocolatier Erika Chavez-Graziano has built Cellar Door’s reputation on her handmade truffles, buttercreams, sea salt caramels and wide selection of other chocolate treats.
In 2010, Cellar Door Chocolates opened its first retail shop in the historic Butchertown Market. There you can purchase all of our signature chocolate confections as well as other seasonal curious chocolates. They are redefining the artistry and beautiful nature of artisan chocolates.
